RISE. UP.

I've said it before and I will say it again - "Rise up!" Jesus told it to the little girl he brought back to life (Mark 5:41), a widow's only son raised from the dead (Luke 7:14), and a man who had been an invalid for 38 years (John 5:8). If the Son of Man can bring life and purpose back into dry bones, then he certainly can inject joy into our hearts, and a new spring in our step. God can return you to the straight and narrow path, nothing is too difficult to keep Him from saving. If you think you have been handed an insurmountable task, trying being completely incapacitated for 38 years. Believe you've been dealt a difficult hand in life and are feeling down? Two youths lost their lives, one of whom was an only child - caring for his mother since his father has passed away.

Death is no match for the power of God.

My brothers, my sisters - the harvest is plenty and the workers are few. Let us RISE UP together, roll up our sleeves, and join with Christ in bringing back God's kingdom. How? Be overly kind and loving. Help others. Be cheerful. Give thanks and honor to the Lord. Boast about the mercies your Heavenly Father has shown. When others worry, turn them to their Anchor, their Bright Morning Star.

Whatever your lot in life, it is NOT God's Plan B. He put you WHERE and WHEN you are right now so that your heart would find Him and bring others to Him (Acts 17:27).

May we and the Holy Spirit hold ourselves accountable. God give us joyful strength and guard our hearts with your peace.
